9pm every Saturday night in Darling Harbour, Sydney, there is a fireworks display. Sydney does fireworks amazingly, their New Years ones are, in my opinion, easily some of the best in the world, and the Saturday ones I saw were easily the best I've ever seen live.
That morning I finally worked out how to access the scene options on my camera and found fireworks mode, which appears to have a longer exposure time than you can manually set with my camera and makes the colours more vivid than in normal shooting mode. It's pretty awesome. xD
